Having studied at The University of Art and Design in Monterrey, Sabel swapped the blue waters of the Pacific for Oxford’s pastoral setting.
Sabel’s vision for Studio Blanco, which opened in 2006, is that it should be a place in which he can explore his own creativity in addition to providing a home for likeminded artists and photographers to pursue their own work.
MORE ABOUT STUDIO BLANCO
Sabel set up Studio Blanco in 2006 and as soon as he saw the space he knew it was perfect. A blank canvas ready to be transformed by the artist into any creation. It felt like the perfect place to let out all creativity.
MORE ABOUT SABEL
After more than 15 years’ experience in commercial, advertising, fashion editorial and high end fashion photography which has taken him all over the world, Sabel is still as passionate about the art of photography as he ever was.
It was 1994 when Sabel fulfilled his dream with buying his first ever Canon. Progressing his photographic strength made him feel free and independent. He left Mexico and found himself treading the rainy, cobbled streets of Oxford.
